Okay, so when I got this it was flat, so it really wasn't round like it shows in the picture, they have a pocket where you can stuff something in to give it that full effect.
I just used paper towels as anything else would have been too heavy and would weigh him down. The hat is a little flimsy but it stretches pretty well to accommodate any size head. My son is 19 months old, but as tall as the average 2 year old, around 36 inches tall. It fits mid shin, so it is a bit big, but I think it makes him look adorable and adds to the effect of the costume. He absolutely loves looking at himself in the mirror and does not want to take it off. Also, I live in Florida so being able to wear long or short sleeves underneath is great. I'm writing this before halloween, because I want other parents to know what a great costume this is.
Cute costume; but needs a little padding
My four year old loves Chuggington, and went as Brewster this past Halloween. This is a really cute costume, but, the front of it looks a little funny because there isn't any padding there, so the face looks squished and droopy.
Chugington costume
Fit great, color was good, stuffed the nose for fluff, hat was a stretchy nylon so it fit well. steamed it to get the package wrinkles out. Delivery was perfect.
