This was a very small medium! The ties broke as soon as they were tied....they were barely stitched into the chest piece. The leg shields straps broke also. If you are going to use this please order up two sizes. I only ordered up one size & it was still too small. Also be prepared to pin/stitch the things that break!

I'm totally a costume making kind of mom, but the picture of this costume looked quite promising, and figured I could maybe just use pieces of the costume for the finished product. Well I'm not going to touch a thing! This is by far the best, most authentic looking "bought costume" I have ever seen. Great details and durability is pretty good. The only bad thing I could say about the costume is that the rubber smell is a little overwhelming.. But a week airing out took care of that.
Also I plan to lace the gauntlets and leg shields with real leather so they stay on better. But overall a great costume. This coukd be used year after year.
Great for the imagination
My nine year old son loves this costume. He is totally into the whole Titan/Roman/Greek warrior thing now and loves to throw on his armor and lose himself in his world of pretend battle. Great costume and so far it has held up very well except one of the ties came off, but that was easy to sew back on.
