It seems like something you would buy at Target but my son loved it. He agreed, though, that it wasn't up to his expectations.
Kids Belt
First off, the logo on the belt is not a bat symbol. It is a black circle with two gold circles that are designed to give the impression of a bat symbol. Parents might not like this. My 3 year old son doesn't care. He has a cool belt that he wears all the time. Other than that it is a pretty basic belt. No compartments to place things, no removable parts (like a batarang, etc). The one thing to note is that the belt is a little big for a 3 year old. Even when it is tied (velcro'd) to the shortest length the belt is juuuuuust a little too big. All the same, $9 for a toy that my son LOVES. Not a bad deal.
looks wrong in person
the center "buckle" area of the belt looks like there's a piece missing but there isn't. look closely at the phto - its 2 gold buttons agains a black circle that from a distance kind of make a bat shape, but it's really a little odd lookign up close & you wonder what's supposed to sit in that space. I may try to find a plastic bat to glue on there...
also the measuring system is confusing - the belt itself is about 24" long and the velcro straps let you expand out from there...
