We bought this for my 8 yr old to wear for Halloween. HE LOVES IT! He is able to fasten all of the buckles (even the ones at the neck) by himself easily. I recommend buying 1 size larger than you regularly do - the jacket runs small. My son is very thin and the medium fit perfectly with a long sleeve shirt underneath. Anything heavier would have been uncomfortable. The zippers are metal and seem durable. The most cheaply made part and most liely to be the point to break first are the straps. The straps themselves are fine, the holes have metal grommets in them. The attachment of the straps to the jacket is flimsy looking. They are stitched onto the top of the jacket fabric and look like they'd come off easily (maybe a safety feature? - especially at the neck). All in all we were happy with our purchase and so was our son - he got lots of compliments on his costume!
If you're considering the sequined glove as an accessory - skip it. It's adult hand sized and the thumb was 3 times...
Cute but not durable
My son loves MJ so we ordered this jacket. It is an actual jacket that zips up the front and has several buckles that cross the front up to neck. My son loves it! BUT...within 5 days of wear the stitching on the buckles is coming apart from the jacket so I will have to get to sewing to prevent tears. I cant see this lasting until Halloween.
Good quality
A good quality jacket which fits my 9 yr old with room for growth. He loves it and it looks quite authentic.
