the fit was perfect, even though it was an 8 to 10 it said it fit a 5 to 7 year old and they were right, very realistic and the fiber optics were great!
Nice costume but lights didn't work
This costume was nice and good quality, but as another buyer stated, the lights did not work. The batteries were corroded, even after I replaced with new batteries, still doesn't work. I am upset b/c my son loves this costume, but is most excited about the light-up chest. And yes, the cape is a burgundy red, not what you would expect. I am hesitant to order another for fear of the same problem, but this one is definitely going back!
UPDATE: The seller Costume Hub gave me a full refund, and let me keep the costume since it's defective! Very pleased with their customer service!
Lights not so SUPER
My three year old was so excited about the lights on this Superman costume. He tried it on as soon at it arrived. Then the problem started. The lights would not turn on. I checked the batteries and they were all corroated. I cleaned it up and changed the batteries. He heads off to a classroom party and returns to tell me that the lights did not work. He was very sad. I looked at the wiring and it had detached. There is a pocket for the device to stay in. I tried to fix it but could not. He was very disappointed with this costume. I wish that I had time before Halloween to exchange it!
