My 4 year old loves Thomas, and wanted to be a Rhomas conductor for Halloween. This seemed like the perfect costume for him. We ordered it on amazon, as it was the most reasonably priced, and seemed to have the right size. It arrived promptly, (we got it at the end of September). The material itself is very thin, the cap is pretty flimsy, the yellow neck keerchief is a small triangle that attaches to the sides with velcro, so not something that might stay in pace on a 4 year old, and it barely fit. He is a pretty tall 4 1/2 year old, more like the size of a 5 1/2 yr old. He is wearing size 5T clothes.Even on the boy modeling it, it looks to be on the tighter side in the hip area. When we tried to wear it for a costume bday party about 3 weeks later, in mid October, it no longer fit, it was too tight in the crotch area. So beware, because the sizes are about at least a size smaller than regular clothes, this was definitely a size 4, not 5 or 6. We had to return it, and ended up getting...
