Armor of God Playset - 3.5 out of 5 stars from 2 customer reviewsPerfect. Except for helmet...
I got this for my son because he loved learning about putting on the whole armor of God at children's church on Wednesday nights. The set is easy to use and everything was perfect. Except for the helmet. The helmet was so disproportionate to the rest of the armor that it isn't even usable. It is entirely too small to pull the face mask down, so in order to wear it, you have to just sit it on top of your head. Unfortunately because there is no strap to strap it under the chin so that it stays on your head, you have to be perfectly still - but what child is going to be perfectly still? Ha! But after seeing the set we have at church (which is a different brand), their helmet is also disproportionate to the rest of the armor - that is why I went ahead and gave it four stars.
Good armor, small helmet, sword breaks EASILY
The vendor did a great job getting this here on time. That said, this armor is not exactly "sturdy". The helmet is inevitably too small for above about a six-year-old, and the sword snaps in no time flat. Fun toy, just don't expect it to be handed down between kids- even if they're only a year apart.
