Very nice costume!
This costume is very nice and relatively high quality for a mass-produced costume. The sizing was very accurate. The material is NOT the flimsy nylon that so many mass-produced costumes are made out of these days. It could actually pass for a costume in a school play. Keep in mind that probably the most important part of the costume is not included -- the wig. My only gripe about the costume is with seller. They stated in their item description, "Hat and boot tops included". Although the hat was included, the boot tops were not, and the packaging for the costume clearly states that it does NOT include the boot tops. I would advise anyone buying costumes from this company to somehow verify what is ACTUALLY included and what's not, because their item description is unreliable.

A great costume!
After studying the Revolutionary war last year, my son really became interested in George Washington. So much he wanted to dress as him for Halloween. I was really impressed with the costume. Seemed a little bit better made than most, and held up to him running around in it. And honestly, it saved me a TON of stress trying to figure out how to put a homemade one together. So, if you aren't handy with sewing, and want a stress free outfit, then this was worth every penny. I can see how this would be great for a school play also.

Horrible customer service
When we purchased this costume the description indicated it came with boot tops. I chose this costume because it was complete, but when it arrived there were no boot tops. I called customer service, and they said that my only choice was to keep it as is or return it. I followed the instructions for a return authorization. When I received my return authorization I emailed them to let them know I would not be paying the 20% restocking fee as the costume was not as described. What followed was an insulting and condescending litany of emails from Pure Costumes customer services in which they basically accused me of lying. Once I sent them screenshots of the costume description (that I had thankfully taken before they changed it) I was told I would not have to pay the restocking fee. There was no apology for their poor customer service. Bottom line - DON'T BUY FROM PURE COSTUMES.
