I bought this for my 2 year old son so he'd be my little toad escort :) (i was princess peach for halloween)
The hole in the hat fit wonderfully around his head but the whole thing was so gosh darn big it was making his head tilt. (so it wasn't warn for very long) I feared the vest would be too big since my son is so naturally skinny, but it looked pretty good and could still fit him for 3 more years.
Overall it's a good buy, but for smaller fellows, I suggest finding a different hat. or you could easily take some stuffing out of this one and sew it in a bit.
Missing half the costume
Just got the costume delivered today. Was surprised when we opened the box. Why arent the pants included??? Picture is very misleading and I have a very disappointed child.
Not much of a costume...
While our five year old was thrilled with the costume, we were less than impressed. I am sure the fine print explained that all you get is a hat and vest, yet we missed that. The picture shows the child in an outfit that matches the Toad colors and we assumed it was included. However we had to put together the rest of the outfit since the vest and hat were not enough. I should also mention that while the hat has ample room for any size head -- the vest is very tight. Our son is on the very tall side, but thin and he had a hard time getting it on over a t-shirt. He is happy and that is what matters, but for the money we expected a bit more.
