My 3.5 yr old wore this for Halloween. I would have given it 5 stars had the shoulder pads been better. My son couldn't wear the shoulder pads because they kept sliding down. It also washes well as it was all my son would wear for a few days after receiving it.
So much fun!
We bought this for my four year old son's birthday party. He was so excited and LOVES it! He plays with it often.
Awesome uniform for pretend play!
Great little uniform! The helmet is sturdy and comes with a chin strap, but it is definitely not made for full contact. It's just a toy! The jersey is a nice lightweight mesh and comes with two inserts in the shoulders for the two little plastic pads. The little pads are for aesthetics to give the jersey a more realistic appearance of a uniform, but they are a pretty thick plastic and looked like they would be uncomfortable, so I removed them and bought the Franklin toy shoulder pads instead (they are foam and look realistic and really puff the jersey out). FYI, the uniforms run small. I bought this medium for a 3 yr old. It is too big for him (pants are too long, jersey is too big), but it fits well enough for him to play in it, and he can enjoy it for a few years instead of only getting a few months of play out of it. If your boy is into football, these uniforms (any of the Franklin NFL/NCAA series) are a huge hit.
