Its not designed to hold up through rough play or multiple use but it fit true to size. It wasnt as long as we thought it would be. My son is of average to short size for his 9 year old self and it hit him at mid shin. But fit great everywhere else. The mask was too big for my sons head. It didnt quite fit mine either. This costume is of very poor quality but my son absolutely loves it. He cried when he had to take it off after trying it on! The hat that came with this costume is extremely small, it didn't even fit my 15 month old, I don't know how the manufacturer could expect it to fit a preschooler. Also the boot strap that hooks around the childs shoe broke before we even got the costume on the first time. The loop that holds the purple belt onto the white shirt doesn't seem like it will last very long either. I don't expect it to last longer than a couple hours for Halloween, which is really all I wanted so I suppose I can't complain too much. My son was excited and happy to see it and for the price I suppose it will be okay, just don't have any expectations that your child will be able to use it to dress up or anything after Halloween is over.Pirate costumes
My four year old grandson loves to watch Jake the Pirate. His little sister is busy dressing up in frilly dresses so I thought it would be nice for him to have a dress up costume as well. He loved it, especially the sword (which is foam so it passed his mother's safety test as well). The eye patch was a little scary for him. He walked into things while wearing it, so its been put up.Very cheap
The costume looks very cheap,the hat doesn't fit on my child's head,the eyepatches I too small for his head as well. The vest/ shirt is one piece and the " vest" is crinkled up and won't lay flat, the " buttons" are made out of an adhesive material and are sticking to themselves. The arms and legs were waaaay too long, but once we hemmed it up, it looked fine. The inflatable proton pack was huuuge on his back, but my son loved it. And the gun (even when blown up all the way) was kind of flimsy, we made it more sturdy by using a piece of cardboard so it would hold up better. Overall, my son absolutely loved this costume, and so did a lot of others at his costume party!! :)Love this costume

I gave 4 stars to this costume as it largely differs from what is advertised. the top piece is printed although the picture looks like embossed as mettalwork. I ordered 5-6 size and the top piece came short in waist, although the pants are of good size. the waistband is attached to the top and sits actually upper than in the picture,covering the printed metal plates. If it were separate part it would cover the shortness of the top. Nevertheless I rate the item at 4 stars as it still looks good when dressed.Dastan costume - great but a little small

I am very disappointed of the Product, the fabrics are very poor as well as the fabrication and finishes. The Jumpsuit material is very poor, the attached belt is bad cut and of a very poor material, the plastic buckle is very weak and despite of the cares it was broken very fast, the cuffs are very bad cut uneven and does not fit the supposed size, head stocking of the same poor quality and plastic googles are of very poor quality and i received them broken. The design does not match sportacus costume, has no separated vest, has no straps on the shoulders, is missing the number 10 and is too large for the offered age.
What we did was use this model for a taylor to fabricate a new one using the plastic parts and the cuffs. Our recommendation is not to buy this product. The cost is extremely high for the quality offered. It shall be retired of Amazon and of the market. Now there are some new alternatives.
A for years old child is awaiting to jump and exercise like...Cheaply made but the kids love it
This costume is made of thin, cheap material. The belt buckle is thin plastic and keeps falling out of the slits it attaches into. The hat does not stay on at all, even after I added elastic to the back. One of the costumes I got already had a velcro piece fallen off and I had to sew it back on. The arm bands are WAY too big, I had to cut the elastic and tie the ends as close as I could to get them to stay on. However, my 3 year old loves it. If your child is a die-hard Lazytown fan like mine are, this costume may still be worth buying as it is very hard to find Lazytown items. Be prepared to do some alterations though. If they are not going to be thrilled to have a Sportacus costume however, don't waste your money.Son loves it, mom has a little work to do

I struggled with buying a costume "online" for my 13 yr old son.
He still enjoys the holidays and wanted to go trick or treating. Kids sizes were too small ... he is 5'3" and weighs about 120 lbs. Even the Xtra large kids sizes would be too small. Adult sizes too large. This came with everything you see in the photo except the weapons and it FIT!!!!!! Is a decent costume for the price and I shopped around. More elaborate ones were great looking but the price nearly tripled!! In these economic times, it's enough of a strain to buy a costume at all, much less spend upwards of $60.00 for one. So this one was perfect. It is unfortunate that they appear " out of stock" now. I probably got one out of the last few.. It is a lightweight Nylon in fabric.. I would hand wash and line dry, if needed. A great little costume for a "teen". .. at a decent price. My son is happy with it!

Facts: 1) Mask is hard plastic, durable, but hard. The eyes are spread too wide even for my 5 year old with large head. I will need to file out the eyes. 2) The size is very confusing. I bought small which says size 4 to 6. The package says for ages 3-4 which is a contridiction. I bought it for my average size 5 year old. He can barely fit into it. Probably can't wear anything significant under it. 3) Chest pieces and gauntlets are very simple additions, nothing significant. 4) The cape is only red on one side. The back side isn't even red. Weird...
Overall its just OK, but my son likes it. That's all that matters I guess...Awesome for Halloween
I ordered this costume for my 5 year old to wear on Halloween, and he has already tried it on and has no problem with the fit. He is so excited to wear it and we know that we aren't going to run in to a ton of kids in the same costume! :-) It IS a Halloween costume and the quality reflects that. It'll hold up just fine for trick or treating but I don't know how long it will last in his dress up bucket. Wished it had at least been one of those two-halves-that-Velcro-together masks instead. I took off the string and sewed the top edge of the mask to a black knit beanie instead---worked and looked great, and eliminated the nose-smushing the string caused. My son was very happy. While it was cute, it would not stay on him. Even if he'd been a little taller, there was no way to keep the costume from slipping over his eyes. It needs something inside the costume to secure it to the child's head. (The little round circle that sits on top of the child's head does not work.) It was so difficult to keep in place that he didn't want to wear it and ended up using his Batman dress up clothes instead. Until they improve the design of this, I wouldn't recommend it. The irony of the situation is that I ordered two separate items; the costume was sent expedited and the other regular delivery. I received my other item 2 days before this costume.Good but not prime
I bought this costume for my 4 year old. He loved it right away but within 3 minutes the styrofoam block used to hold the mask away from his eyes fell off, making the mask unwearable. I "jimmied" it as much as possible and was able to save the Halloween parade. I think they should make the mask bit more wearable without the need of glued on items.Good Costume

I bought this costume for my son's pirate themed birthday party. The fabric is thin- feels like curtain fabric/sheers. But the costume is just gorgeous. Looks exactly like the photos pictured. The sword is terrible. We taped it to a pirate pinata and had a fantastic center piece. It is sized bigger. My son is about 70lbs and usually wears a 10- we bought a size 8 and it fit perfectly. Also, it washes well. Just treat it as you would your curtains- cold wash, dry on low heat. Comes out wrinkle free every time.Perfect pirate costume
Bought this for my son this Halloween. This costume is all sewn, not glued together. It is very nice quality and well worth the cost, since my son loves costumes and wears them all year long. He wore last years knight costume until it had holes everywhere! This item fits true to size as my son wears size 8 and this was just a tad large for him, just as I expected. The included sword was the only disappointment as it is cheap, flimsy, thin plastic - highly recommend purchasing a seperate sword. This costume also ships in it's own little garment bag with accessories in the bottom of the bag. This costume could be used multiple years for multiple children if you chose to go that route. Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase, as is my son!Runs small but otherwise great
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product -- good costume for the price. My son wears a size 4 or 5 shirt and a 4 pants, normally, but this size 6 is just barely big enough for him through the torso -- I'm glad I didn't buy his normal size! Cute costume. The belt comes large and has to be altered if your child is thin because it's not very adjustable. Other than that, it's a pretty well made costume. The helmet might be a little on the flimsy side, but it wouldn't keep me from purchasing this type of costume again. My son really loves it and had a blast wearing it.Great Costume
The costume gets an A+ except for the belt. The belt itself is fine but the sizing is TOTALLY wrong. It was too big for an adult. It should have a tie in the back instead of rubber around with velcro. We ended up stapling in together to take away about 4-6 inches of material. ordered the medium of this costume. my son is 53" and skinny as a rail...it just barely fit him, length-wise...so the size is running to the small side. it has ok craftsmanship...it was what my son wanted...so overall i'm happy with it.Costume was a little short

I was so upset when this arrived! The box is smaller than my purse if you can believe that. I knew the trunk was cardboard but all the items inside look like they are from a dollar store. I would say this toy is worth about $15.00-$20.00 maybe? Also, this product came from overstocked..which i could have purchased myself directly and I am sure for much cheaper than the 56.00 I paid. We got this for my son and at first I was disappointed in the fact that there was only one set of the black pants shown with three of the shirt sets. But other than that, it's flimsyish but tons of fun! He has enjoyed all of the costumes and didn't put up too much fuss when we told him he couldn't keep the gun. Although Pinnacle Import mistakenly sent this package to the wrong address initially, the company responded fairly quickly with a second order to the correct address. Upon arrival, it was obvious the hero dress up trunk was exactly what I hoped it would be. I gave it to my three year old nephew this week, and he absolutely lost his mind! He dressed himself as a firefighter and insisted on keeping the costume on all day. He ran around with the radio in hand saying "On my way!" It was awesome! This costume is a bit large on our son who is 9 but the 8/10 we bought was too small so this will do. Was a little disappointed that the legs are tapered so if you don't have them wearing boots, the don't exactly go over a pair of dress shoes as a pair of slacks would. But in all, it looks okay on him and will do for the performance he is to wear it in.great

We bought this for our boy to wear to WonderCon since his sister wanted to wear her Supergirl outfit. He has been posing and hamming it up daily in this outfit for the last week since! Only problems are it is already starting to pull apart at the seams. Also not the most authentic outfit, but he could care less about that! Cape velcros on either side of neck to minimize strangling potential. Back is kind of wide open, so you can see Superman's diapers, but hey...Sizing All Wrong
